Title: Admission/Quality Nurse

Position Overview: Responsible for conducting client admissions and quality reviews in the branch area to ensure
the highest level of quality of care as well as to correct errors or discrepancies to accurately support reasons for
treatment, billing, payment or operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Serves as the alternate administrator for branch office
2. Conducts admissions in branch area
3. Conducts quarterly audits for branch
4. Conducts random OASIS form audits
5. Conducts RC review for staff with poor quality scores
6. Serves as backup when staff shortages or vacations occur
7. Participate in QAPI committee
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with valid license in state of IN
Demonstrate high level of organization and communication
At least two years of nursing experience
Audit experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of health administration regulations and standards, health information management, and
Medicaid, Waiver and Home health service lines
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn new applications
Detail oriented, highly organized, and self motivated
Location:
Ability to travel within branch area
Physical Requirements:
Typical office setting, indoor and extensive use of computer
Minimal lifting, bending but role typically requires long period of sitting
