    Description:

    The Radiology Technologist, Registry Eligible, is responsible to review the Physician Order and reason for exam, position, and image of patients. The Radiology Technologist, Registry Eligible, works closely with the Radiology leadership and the Radiologist to produce the highest quality diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols. Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body portions for interpretation by physicians. Assists Radiologist in the administration of contrast media required in specific diagnostic procedures. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, with integrity and initiative.

     

    **Job Status** : Part Time

    **Hours:** 48 hours per pay period with ability to pick up additional shifts

    **Schedule** :

    + **1st pay period:**

    + Week 1: M, Tu, W 12:30p - 9p.

    + Week 2: M 8a - 4:30p, Thu 12:30p - 9p, F 12:30p - 9p

    + **2nd pay period:**

    + Week 1: M 12:30p - 9p, Tues 12:30p - 9p, Sat 6:30a - 3p.

    + Week 2: Sun 6:30a - 3p, M 12:30p - 9p, W 12:30p - 9p

    + On call and holiday rotation

    What you will need:

    + High School Graduate or equivalent

    + BLS certification.

    + Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography RT(R) without restriction.

    + Graduate of an approved school of Radiography Technology.

    What you will do:

    + Performs related tasks such as assisting patients in positioning for correct anatomical exposure.

    + Provides appropriate radiation shielding and collimation to adhere to ALARA principles.

    + Maintaining order and cleanliness of work area.

    + Performing routine clerical tasks.
