Description:
The Business Intelligence Solution Developer:
Will have a primary Emphasis Area:
+ Will be an SQL expert with a strong understanding of Access databases and able to convert to web front ends.
+ Dev/Ops: Application Development – Specifically, we are looking for a candidate that has VBA skills to support & maintain several applications built in Microsoft Access for the front-end with SQL Server back-end tables.
+ Long-term goal is to convert these from Microsoft Access front-end to web-based applications.
+ Establish and maintain a consultative and/or collaborative partnership with business owners, stakeholders, leadership and technical teams.
+ Collaborating with business owners to gather explicit business requirements for business intelligence solutions.
+ Responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying business intelligence solutions that support the strategic objectives, mission and business intelligence strategy of the health system.
+ Collaborates with technical teams and EDW teams to develop needed data infrastructure for respective business intelligence solutions.
+ Supports business intelligence tools and systems, and end-users of these tools and systems.
+ Contributes to and supports data and analytic governance, process and tool documentation, data and analytic asset inventories, and business intelligence knowledge base documentation.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications and experience required. Microsoft certifications include the MTA, MCSE.
+ Minimum of four (4) years of experience in business intelligence solution development (data engineering and/or application development) and/or data analysis of complex, large data sets required, preferably in healthcare.
+ Intermediate experience designing and deploying business intelligence solutions based on knowledge of healthcare data, healthcare operations, clinical quality, revenue cycle, and health information technology required. Solutions may include data tables/views/cubes, user interfaces (UIs), predictive analytics, dashboards, scorecards, reports, clinical decision support.
GOOD TO HAVE
+ Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Predictive Analytics, IT-related, or Math.
