What You'll Be Doing

+ Weigh trucks in and out of the site

+ Operate other mobile plant equipment as needed (ie. Water Truck, Loader).

+ Notify drivers of the product to be loaded as necessary

+ Weighs loaded trucks and prints the customers ticket for signature

+ Perform clerk tasks including maintenance of office supplies, MSHA paperwork, maintenance supplies, production and labor reporting.

+ Coordinate blasting and contractors onsite.

+ Answer phones, promote customer service, offer product information and pricing to drop-in customers.

+ Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures; perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions.

+ Perform QC sampling and testing of production and stockpile materials, including water sampling, well measurements.

+ Perform light maintenance of environmental controls, stormwater grates, sediment pond, and pit dewatering pump system.

+ Perform related job duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

+ 2 years prior haul truck (or other large mobile equipment) experience preferred.

+ Previous experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products a plus.

+ Ability to multi-task and cover many areas of the quarry and operations

+ Organized and self-motivated to complete task in an orderly manner

+ Computer skills with basic MS Suite needed

Conditions of Employment

+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

+ Must be able to meet all physical demands related to the role.

Work Environment

+ Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
