    **Title:** State Government Relations Manager

    **Facility:** BayCare Systems Office (Hybrid)

    **This position requires travel to Tallahassee throughout the year

    Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for advancing BayCare Health System's state legislative agenda and raise awareness of its mission throughout the State of Florida.

    + This requires systematic cultivation and management of relationships with elected officials, close monitoring of legislation and public policy affecting the delivery of health care, and a variety of public outreach strategies.

    + Manages the working relationship with contracted state lobby team to ensure objectives are being met.

    + Manages all state related budgetary matters.

    + Required specific skills includes extensive out of town travel.

    Experience:

    + Required - 5 Years in Government Affairs

    + Preferred - 2 Years in Healthcare or Public Relations

    Education:

    + Required - Bachelor's in Political Science, Business, Healthcare, or Related Field

    + Preferred - Master's in Related Field
