Job Title: Implementation Engineer

Pay Range: $60/hr on W2

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Network Implementation Engineer to design and implement advanced network infrastructures. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in routing protocols, optical formats, and automation to build robust, scalable, and efficient networks.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design and deploy network solutions utilizing advanced routing protocols, including eBGP, iBGP, and EIGRP.

+ Implement VRF-Lite for network segmentation, enhancing security and resource management.

+ Optimize network performance and security through route filtering and distribute lists.

+ Apply BGP route tagging to streamline routing policy management.

+ Work with high-speed optical formats (10G, 40G, 100G) to meet data transmission needs.

+ Develop configuration templates to standardize and streamline network deployments.

+ Use Python scripting to automate configuration generation and network management tasks.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network implementations with organizational objectives.

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

+ Extensive experience in network implementations with proficiency in eBGP, iBGP, EIGRP, and VRF-Lite.

+ Strong knowledge of route filtering, distribute lists, and BGP route tagging.

+ Familiarity with high-speed optical formats (10G, 40G, 100G) in network design.

+ Experience with configuration templating and Python-based automation.

+ Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to network challenges.

+ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
