    Our client, **a provider of communication products, solutions, and services with a focus on safety,** is hiring a contract **Radio Technician in Elgin, IL.**

     

    As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for board-level analysis of failed 2-way subscriber products, including mobile and portable 2-way radios. This will be an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise within testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic assemblies to identify the root causes of failures.

     

    Contract Duration: 12+ Months

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology

    + 1-3 years of experience

    + Experience operating and setting up electronics equipment

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + Experience working with schematics

    + Analyze rejected electronic assemblies using test equipment, simulators, and troubleshooting skills

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, define the corrective actions, and communicate findings

    + Identify vendor vs process defects and write detailed failure analysis reports
