The Office of Financial Aid is looking for an individual with experience in financial aid, student finance, or other similar experience to fill our Assistant Director, Financial Aid position. Apply now to join our team!
The Assistant Director, Financial Aid reports to the Associate Director of Financial Aid for Verification, Eligibility, and Loans Management and supervises the staff of the Verification & Eligibility Team, auditing and reporting on workload and work product and serving as backup for all Team functions. This position maintains knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations and procedures and uses that knowledge to proactively review and enhance business processes. This position is also responsible for training staff across the Office of Financial Aid about topics relevant to aid verification and eligibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least three years of higher education administration experience in financial aid, student finance, or related area. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least five years of higher education experience in financial aid, student finance, or related area.
+ At least one year of experience supervising full-time staff.
