You are a passionate and experienced project leader, ready to take on the role of Manager of Learning Projects leading cross-functional initiatives that revolutionize course design, media production, and instructional delivery. Your mission is to drive innovation and foster collaboration working on the Teaching & Learning Innovation Team (TLI) at Mays Business School.
You will standardize project management practices, streamline workflows, and ensure progress stays on track. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in training staff on project management tools and methodologies, maintaining quality assurance standards, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Salary: $64,480 to $78,811 ( commensurate to selected hire’s experience)

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years of experience in project management, including:
+ Demonstrated proficiency or related experience in project management platforms and collaboration tools
+ Demonstrated success or related experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in a relevant field.
+ Five years of experience in higher education or educational technology.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
+ Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual learning platforms.
+ Familiarity with instructional design, multimedia production, and online course delivery workflows.
+ Proven experience leading complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Strong project and portfolio management skills, with proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
+ Familiarity with quality assurance standards, accessibility guidelines, and higher education regulations.
+ Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and use performance metrics to inform strategy.
+ Experience training and mentoring staff across project life-cycles.
+ Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and change management practices is a plus.
+ Understanding of instructional design, media production workflows, and emerging educational technologies.
Responsibilities
Project Management
+ Oversee the quality review process for all materials developed by teams across TLI, ensuring alignment with institutional quality benchmarks and learning objectives.
+ Conduct comprehensive quality reviews throughout the course lifecycle and provide actionable feedback to strengthen instructional and media deliverables.
+ Review and approve course materials and media assets to address alignment gaps and support compliance.
+ Establish performance-based quality metrics informed by best practices in instructional design, media production, and course delivery.
+ Develop and maintain guides, templates, and tools that support quality assurance practices across instructional design, media, and delivery functions.
Project Tool and Software Management
+ Evaluate, implement, and manage software tools that support project planning, collaboration, and execution.
+ Coordinate with administrative staff to maintain software licenses and ensure systems are properly configured and operational.
+ Lead onboarding and training efforts to ensure effective and consistent software use across the unit.
Quality Assurance
+ Contribute to the development and application of quality standards and performance metrics.
+ Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with institutional policies, accessibility requirements, and online learning best practices.
+ Conduct quality checks at key project stages to uphold standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
+ Stay current with trends in educational technology, instructional design, and project management.
+ Analyze feedback and data to identify process improvements and drive operational enhancements.
+ Partner with leadership to explore and implement innovations in teaching, learning, and team workflows.
Reporting and Analytics
+ Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor project progress, team workload, and outcomes.
+ Prepare regular reports for leadership that highlight project status, insights, and results.
+ Use data to inform decisions and support continuous process improvement efforts.
+ Other Duties as assigned
