Job Description
Job Summary
The Camp worker will assist with the operations of athletic camps and/or provide support to the designated sport assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assist with any or all operations of the athletic camps as designated by the camp director.
+ Preparing and storing equipment, instructing and guiding minors.
+ Maintain a safe and fun learning environment for campers, following safety procedures.
+ Communicate positively and appropriately with parents and volunteers.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
+ High school graduate or equivalent.
+ One year of related experience in game management or knowledge of sport or playing the assigned sport.
+ May NOT be currently enrolled as undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
+ Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the public.
+ Must possess patience with youth and ability to communicate at their level of understanding.
+ Must possess commitment and capabilities to abide by NCAA BY-LAWS and Heartland Conference regulations.

Other Requirements
+ Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.
+ Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
+ Position requires working up to 19 hours per week for the duration of the summer program.
+ Individuals will be working with minors and proper background checks will be run by HR prior to employment.

+ Position is temporary for the duration of the summer camp to work up to 19 hours per week.
Pay of Rate: $10.00/hour for 19 hours weekly
