    Job Description

    Exposures:

    Perform various exposures with different materials, angles, and depths

     

    Document and track tests

     

    Run exposures under different circumstances

    Heavy Lifting:

    Move and lift objects weighing 25-30 pounds a few times a day

    Experimental Work:

    Highly varied tasks to avoid repetition

     

    Add comments on unusual results and be aware of the system

    Skills and Requirements

     

    MATLAB: Required for reading and understanding code (documentation may be lacking)

    Laser Experience:

    UV Class 4 laser ("cancer laser") experience highly preferred

     

    Laser safety training or certification likely needed (possibly through school)

    Optical Alignment:

    Comfortable and experienced with optical alignment

     

    Check alignment before and after each experiment to ensure no drift

    Clean Room Experience: Preferred null
