Insight Global is hiring for a System Administrators to support a large government prime in Colorado Springs, CO. This is an onsite M-F position and will require a Top Secret DoD clearance with ability to obtain SCI, and willingness to work onsite at base in a secure facility. The Systems Administrator primary duties will include installing, troubleshooting, updating/patching, and maintenance of physical and virtualized environments, lab assets, & IT infrastructure. A candidate will provide support for hardware and software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, configuration issues, system installation and relocation. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with the prime. This role is located on-site daily at Schriever SFB and with no option for remote/hybrid work. Salary Range Level 2: $90,400 155,000. Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available on day one of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave as applicable by state law.

Skills and Requirements

Active Secret clearance required to start

Bachelors degree with 2-9+ years of experience (various levels)

Experience administering and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 9)

Strong Ansible automation experience (ability to build an inventory, create roles and playbooks) This is used for monthly patching, STIG updates, and configuration changes.

Must have CompTIA Security+ with Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M

Networking basics - configuring/maintaining Networking Hardware (Switch, Router, Firewall) RHCSA

RHCE

Network+ or CCNA

JIRA / Confluence

Experience with Bit Bucket and Git

Experience with DoD STIG interpretation/remediation

Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory

Experience in Virtualization technology (VMWare)

Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) null
