Job Description
As a T/PGM for Network Service Delivery you will manage the delivery of large scale network infrastructure services, of varying complexity, purchased from 3rd party vendors and suppliers nationwide. You will work closely with the design and technical negotiation team to assess leased dark fiber, bandwidth & colocation requirements to support new capacity demands and understand the terms of new contracts including delivery targets and other technical requirements. The T/PGM will be responsible for creating detailed scopes of work to guide build outs within new and existing locations. You will manage all aspects of the Dark Fiber and Bandwidth deployment process with vendor to include: site surveys, vendor management, network connectivity, testing and final acceptance to ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications. T/Program manager's will be responsible for keeping downstream teams apprised of delivery status and escalate up vendor management chains if delivery time lines are at risk.
Responsibilities:
* Manage third party vendors and drive the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving Leased 3rd Party Metro fiber, Long-haul circuits (backbone 10G, 100G), Colocation space and power, and Peering connectivity from inception through installation. Ensure network assets are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications.
* Prepare drawings, maps, scopes of work and other materials as to clearly define critical path project details for external vendors and internal stakeholders.
* Lead kickoff and regular project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at GFiber aware of project and delivery status. Manage exceptions, mitigate risks, coordinate and communicate across the organization.
* Oversee TVC resources responsible for network provisioning, physical connectivity, test and acceptance and network documentation. (ie, port reservations, cross connects, patching, turn over package acceptance..)
* Responsible for ongoing vendor performance management handling escalations related to quality and performance.
* Evolve and streamline workflow and process for GFiber's Service Delivery / provisioning functions.
* Participate in the creation of network standards for Dark Fiber and Bandwidth Capacity Management and Documentation.

Skills and Requirements
* Metro Transport requirements parameters for Dark Fiber.
* Dark fiber standards for testing, the ability to perform OTDR and Power meeting testing for leased fiber.
* We would need someone who could work on a daily basis reviewing and accepting turn over packages (which include OTDR, Power meter test data, network diagrams, KMZ's etc). Accurately making sure plant is meeting minimum db loss requirements, and verifying that there a not distance issues for CWDM or DWDM parameters.
* Responsibilities would also include documenting the route details in an arc GIS tool.
* Also requires coordination between Network Acquisition, Technical Pgm, and other market stakeholders.
* Managing consistent updates via e-mail and PGM Projects.
* Excellent communication and SME as a part of expansion project calls working hand in hand with Service Delivery PGM's & other stakeholders. Should have a background of performing OTDR and Power meeting testing null
