Job Summary and Qualifications
+ The Clinical Informatics Analyst (CIA) is responsible for providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility Clinical Quality Informatics projects related to the electronic health record (EHR) and the Clinical Excellence quality agenda.
+ Key components of this work include:
-standardization
- utilization
-integration
-optimization
+ The Clinical Informatics Analyst is the key facility resource responsible for delivering the successful implementation of clinical informatics initiatives.
+ You will be responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments parameter settings and assisting with the development of education/training materials.
+ You will participate in the company-wide community for CPOE, EBCD, and work with your division peers to ensure clinical informatics applications are well supported throughout the facility.
+ You will be responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support, and refinement of clinical informatics, Meaningful Use initiatives, publicly reported metrics, as well as additional support for clinical applications throughout the facility.
+ Your additional responsibilities will include any upgrades and applications as they are implemented.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree required, clinical degree preferred with strong healthcare facility.
+ Master Degree preferred, ideally with a focus on Health Informatics.
Licensure/Certifications:
+ Current (per State) RN license for RN applicants.
+ Nurse or Health Informatics Certification encouraged.
Experience:
+ Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in Clinical/Healthcare Informatics, clinical applications support, or equivalent preferred.
+ Meditech experience strongly preferred.
+ Must have previous experience facilitating large projects which includes implementation of health technology.
