Job Description
An employer sitting in North Ridge, CA is looking to hire a Material Coordinator. This person will be supporting the Construction and Planning teams to meet their material requirements and requests. This position will require communication with Construction Manager's to better understand their needs, inventory levels, and what is needed in the field. This person will also need to visit field yards for materials to be offloaded and knowing safety regulations of field workers regarding their involvement with equipment (i.e. a crane or reach lift). This person will primarily be working in an office setting and going into the field x1 a week, M-Fri 8am-5pm. This role is paying between $30-$50/hr.

Skills and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Minimum
- 5+ years in Material Coordination for High Pressure Material Ordering specific to (pipe specifications, valves, weld vs flange)
- Experience with SAP Project Systems for ordering materials, checking inventory and ECM purchase requisitions
- Ability to conduct field visits and understand construction field safety regulations - Previous experience with Gas Utilities in Material Coordination null
