    Job Description

    A large retail employer in Katy, Tx. Is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join their team! On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for conducting competitive analysis research, coming up with a strategic "go to market" plan, and presenting the go live end result for web, desktop, and mobile application. The UI/UX Designer will utilize Quantum, Adobe Analytics, and other data analytics tools to explore emerging trends and innovations in e-commerce UX, track and analyze user behavior within the cart and checkout funnels, and apply data-driven insights to iterate on and improve the effectiveness of designs. They will develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that prioritize usability and conversion optimization, and must be proficient with componentization in Figma. This person will also conduct usability testing in UserZoom to validate designs for cart and checkout experiences. This person must be local to Katy and comfortable reporting onsite 5 days/week. The salary pay for this role dependent upon experience and would be between $40-50/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of professional UX design experience in a technical, transactional, or strategic role.

     

    - Experience utilizing Figma to develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

     

    - Experience streamlining design processes through componentization in Figma.

     

    - Prior hands-on experience conducting usability testing within UserZoom.

     

    - Prior e-commerce experience, focused on cart, checkout, and payment workflows.

     

    - Strong collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to present designs and research findings to high level stakeholders effectively. - Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js) null
