    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in the SE Houston, TX area. This person will work with our engineers and customers to develop software for embedded systems operating in space. They will support the software development life cycle from systems engineering, design, and development through testing, verification, validation, and certification.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)

     

    2+ years of relevant experience

     

    Good working knowledge of C, C++, and Python

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     

    Software development in a Linux environment Understanding of Linux process scheduling

     

    Knowledge of the memory layout of C and C++ objects

     

    FSW/Simulation integration

    NASA Core flight software (cFS) experience null
