    Job Description

    A premier third party logistics company is looking for a COBOL Developer to join their team. The COBOL Developer is being brought on to help the organization in creating a single centralized application for MCP (Multi Carrier Process/Parcel Carrier management) and getting the MCP data out of their existing system. The COBOL Developer will be responsible for digging into the existing code and figuring out how it works today, what triggers what to happen where and understand how the organization needs to make changes or remove code, create add ons, etc. The Developer will also be responsible for developing and implementing APIs. This role will be a heads down development role and any experience with a 3PL, Logistics/Supply chain industry or with WMS systems is a big plus.

    Skills and Requirements

    Required Skills & Experience

    Extensive Experience as a COBAL Developer

     

    Developed and Implemented API in past roles

     

    Strong LINUX scripting skills

     

    Previous experience working in the 3PL, Supply Chain/ Logistics Industry

    Experience with MCS (Multi-Carrier Shipping platform) & QAD Software null
