DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Field Service EngineTechnician to join our Distribution business in Elko, NV.

You will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

+ Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

+ Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

+ Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

+ Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

+ Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

+ Basic Maintenance and repairs

+ Engine and transmission replacement

+ Engine Overhauls

+ Steering and suspension Work

+ Tech/trade school preferred with 3-5 years' experience however not required

+ CDL is not required but helpful.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

+ A current valid license is required for this role

+ Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

+ This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

**Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
