    Your Future Role

     

    The National Channel Manager is responsible for growing the Innomotics portfolio of solutions for the US organization by amplifying selling activities through the national distribution and third-party rep channel. The primary responsibilities for this role include achieving profitable order intake achievement across all assigned portfolio categories sold through the US distribution and rep network.

     

    The National Channel Manager will report to the VP of Sales and will work closely with other departments within the organization, including business development, inside sales, application engineering, and operations. The Channel Contracts Administrator will report to this role. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. The candidate should also be able to adapt to changing priorities and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be familiar with value selling and the latest trends in coordinated drive solutions.

     

    This role is remote with the expectation of up to 50% travel and the ideal candidate must be based near a major airport hub for ease of US travel.

     

    + Developing and leading the national channel sales strategy including the 3rd party rep, channel distributor partner, and service partner network.

    + Formulating and implementing channel development plans and quarterly business plans for the top 10 distribution partners.

    + Providing channel leadership across the sales organization.

    + Leading and coordinating distributor advisory council

    + Achieve orders intake and profitability quotas across all areas of assigned portfolio quotas through network of distribution partners, service partners, and third-party rep network.

    + Lead Voice of the Customer channel process and report data to the business including, but not limited to, market level pricing and product capability feedback.

    + Develops and leads consistent implementation of respective channel guidelines.

    + Allocates related financial and personnel resources.

    + Acts as advisor to the business accountable management of the unit in 8all channel related issues.

    + Stays ahead of industry and legal trends.

    + Lead contract administrator.

    + Analyze national channel coverage to settle ideal coverage model. Recruiting and Terminate as required.

    + Complete all areas of responsibilities while adhering to Innomotics code of ethics, integrity, and safety guidelines.

    **Impact** :

     

    Impact includes analyzing general business and/or technological situation, setting up and prioritizing tactical targets, and settling courses of action, while regularly monitoring and adhering to budgets and resources given. Selects from among clear policies, commercial principles and solutions to address differing and variable situations. Line of sight impact includes 3rd party rep, distribution, and 3rd party service order intake.

     

    **Influence** :

     

    Needs sophisticated management understanding to influence and align employees in different workflows and/or projects organization environment. Planning and handling results and performance is crucial.

    Your Profile

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering highly preferred.

    + 10+ years of proven track record in selling industrial controls, motors, variable frequency drives (VFD’s), and associated services.

    + Shown experience in the use of CRM tools to supervise selling activities.

    + Channel strategy development experience highly preferred.

    + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    **Knowledge** :

    + Proven understanding of coordinated drive solutions (motor, drive, system solution, etc.) and motor driven applications.

    + Demonstrable ability to call on all levels of an organization with an ability to expand sphere of influence.

    + Experience amplifying sales efficiency through a distribution network and third-party rep network.

    + Proven experience developing and implementing channel strategies and programs that optimize distribution sales mind share.

    + Experience leading and administrating a channel program.

    + Demonstrable knowledge in the effective use of a CRM to drive selling efficiency.

    + Customer centric selling proficiencies

     

    The pay range for this position is $117,000 - $200,700. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
