Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our Team as a Supply Chain Subcontracts Administrator in our Global Supply Chain (GSC) department that will support the Customs and Border Protection P-3 AM & LS Program. This position is located in Jacksonville, FL.
In this role, you will:
+ Source a variety of goods and services, to include but not limited to, aircraft parts and components, tooling, machinery, ground support equipment and repair services for the P-3 fleet.
+ Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
+ Prepare bid packages, review, and analyze proposals and identify opportunities to negotiate prices and delivery schedules based on the mission needs of the Customer.
+ Manages performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations.
+ Ensure all procurement activities are performed in accordance with Northrop Grumman compliance processes and procedures.
+ Create/Issue purchase orders and manage contractual delivery dates.
+ Develop and maintain regular status meetings with suppliers to track open actions and contractual requirements.
+ Evaluate and assess supplier performance metrics such as cost, responsiveness, quality, and reliability.
+ Participate in meetings with the Customer, Program Management, and Material Management teams to ensure program responsibilities are understood and executed in a timely manner.
+ Assist in growing the supplier pool and working through the registration process with new vendors.
+ Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Must have a High school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
+ Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
+ Ability to pass a Department of Homeland Security background investigation
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ Previous experience working in SAP
+ Invoice processing experience (in SAP)
+ An understanding of aircraft maintenance and related supply chain support requirements
+ Experience working within the FAR/DFARS for government procurement
+ Experience with negotiating Supplier Terms and Conditions
+ A current / active security clearance (Secret or higher)
+ A current DHS background investigation
*NOTE – Passing the DHS background investigation is required before being hired for the position.
Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
