About the Role:
The Production Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our wholesale trade business in Spokane. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels. The ideal candidate will analyze production capacity, lead times, and resource availability to optimize workflow and minimize delays. By coordinating with various departments, the Production Scheduler will ensure that all production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality. Ultimately, this role is essential for driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role within the wholesale trade industry.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with scheduling software or ERP systems.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
+ Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM or similar).
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels.
+ Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
+ Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.
+ Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in scheduling processes.
+ Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on production goals and timelines.
