    **Job Title:** Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Nights)

    **Location:** Augusta, GA

    **Status of Hire:** full-time, direct hire

    **Pay:** $40-48/hr (hourly, non-exempt)

    **Shift:** nights 6p-6a on a 4on, 4off schedule

    **Industry:** industrial metals processing

    **Department:** Maintenance and Engineering

    **Reports to:** Maintenance Manager

    *will provide relocation assistance: sign-on bonus ranging $5-8k depending on living situation*

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery

    + Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation

    + Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, material handling, overhead and gantry crane, crushing, grinding, furnace, vacuum, pump, bag-house, silo, and casting operations as well as auxiliary equipment

    + Install, maintain, and repair control systems, including but not limited to PLCs (Siemens), SCADA systems, DCS. HMIs and other automation equipment

    + Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general plant electrical equipment such as starters, PLCs (Siemens), start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)

    + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance reliability

    + Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators

    + Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, bearings, belts, valves, or gears, to restore functionality

    + Lubricate and clean mechanical parts to ensure proper functioning and prevent premature wear

    + Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory

    + Understanding of measurement and testing devices and mechanical systems

    + Demonstrate good working knowledge of electrical diagrams and/or circuits and utilize during troubleshooting

    + Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations

    Requirements:

    + 6+ years’ electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a complex processing industrial manufacturing environment

    + 2 Year Technical Degree in Industrial Technology, Maintenance, Mechatronics, Engineering, or related preferred (but not required)

    + Intermediate understanding of PLCs, ability to access program for troubleshooting purposes (light programming and edits a plus, would not be expected to fully program PLCs)

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery, including principles of operation and maintenance requirements

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools to perform mechanical repairs and adjustments

    + Familiarity with diagnostic tools and instruments for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, electric schematics, and engineering drawings

    + Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts (likely 6p-6a or 7p-7a) on a 4on, 4off rotation which may include nights and weekends

    **Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time

    **Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical
