    A Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer job in Dublin, VA is currently accepting applications. This is a contract position with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will assist with the designing and developing mechanical equipment and tools for use in manufacturing processes. To be considered for this role, you will have a B.S. Degree, along with 5+ years of related experience.

    Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer Job Responsibilities:

    * Researching production equipment solutions and developing new or modifying existing equipment designs

    * Designing, developing, and implementing mechanical equipment and tools (e.g., machinery, machine attachments, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, etc.)

    * Overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and associated processes to optimize utilization, uptime and production yield

    * Liaise with and conduct training for the Technology Transfer and Production Groups on new equipment and associated processes.

    * Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.

    Manufacturing Tooling & Equipment Engineer Job Requirements:

    * B.S. Degree in Engineering

    * 5+ years of relevant experience

    * CAD / 3D Design (Especially for manufacturing tools)

    * Equipment procurement and installation experience

    * Machining knowledge (understanding of machining practices to help in designs)

    * Comfortable working with operators on the floor and accepting constructive criticism

    * Willingness to work in a team

    * Strong organizational skillset

    * Exposure to automotive / transportation industry is preferred
