Job Summary:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience, particularly in deploying and optimizing new MES systems. This role will prioritize MES expertise and involve close collaboration with our Digital Manufacturing Engineer to support and structure a new manufacturing system expansion, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced production efficiency.

In an ideal candidate, we"re looking for hands-on experience with Siemens Simatic IT MES, as well as familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter, SAP, and programming languages such as VBA, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead efforts in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MES software systems, with a focus on implementing structured solutions for new system expansions.

* Support manufacturing processes by optimizing MES functionality and ensuring its seamless integration with production systems.

* Apply technical expertise in mechanics, structural design, and manufacturing principles to support MES applications.

* Develop and deploy tools and scripts using VBA, SQL, and Python to enhance MES capabilities and streamline operations.

* Perform hands-on work on the production floor to ensure alignment of MES systems with real-time production needs and facilitate process optimization.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation, process reports, and operational standards.

Qualifications Required:

* MES Deployment Experience: Proven experience in implementing and managing new MES systems (Siemens Simatic IT MES highly preferred).

* Programming Skills: Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python for developing and enhancing system functionality.

* Manufacturing Background: Practical experience in a manufacturing or shop environment, with an understanding of process flow and optimization.

* Technical Knowledge: Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing principles, including design for manufacturability and mechanics of materials.

* Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Qualifications Preferred:

* Other Software Expertise: Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter and SAP systems.

* Education: M.S. or B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* Documentation Skills: Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation and process standards.

* Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated technical leadership skills.
