    Description

    Position Summary:

    Provide landscape maintenance service to maintain and beautify Unity Village grounds and 9-hole golf course.

    Essential Job Functions:

    1. Operate mowing equipment and do daily adjustments and maintenance which includes push and tractor mowers, greens, tees, fringe.

    2. Perform routine golf course tasks including cut and change pin placements, rake sand traps, cut and move sod.

    3. Operate power hand tools.

    4. Perform routine daily tasks including mowing, weed eating, planting and apply fertilizers or chemicals.

    5. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule. – _this position is_ _not_ _a remote or telecommute position._

    6. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines.

    7. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request.

    Non-Essential Job Functions

    1. Snow removal, as needed.

    2. Fall clean-up and pruning.

    3. Perform winter maintenance on mowing units. Grind and sharpen reels. Disassemble, analyze, replace needed parts, assemble and adjust mowing units.

    4. Conduct golf cart maintenance or repairs, as needed.

    Qualifications

    **Education:** High School Diploma

    Experience:

    1. 18 years of age.

    2. One-year experience in landscape or grounds care is preferred.

    3. Six months of demonstrated experience with landscape equipment and hand-held tools.

    4. Customer service skills and ability to assist campus patrons with directions or other requests.

    Computer Skills:

    Certificates & Licenses:

    + Certificates & Licenses: Missouri Chauffeurs license or willing to obtain once employed.

    + Bucket truck certification or willing to obtain once employed.
