    This is a full-time, on-site role.

    Assistant Project Manager Essential Responsibilities

     

    + Provide administrative, sales, and customer service support to the Electric Switchboard Solutions division

    + Support the sales, production, and engineering departments through data entry and vendor/customer communication

    + Communicate with customers via e-mail and phone

    + Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting guidance to customers; escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team members

    + Conduct research on customer and vendor histories

    + Manage Excel based job tracking sheet

    + Manage customer accounts

    + Expedite orders

    + Technical knowledge of our products and systems will be provided during training

    + Other office duties upon request

     

    Assistant Project Manager Necessary Qualifications

     

    + 1+ years of admin work in an industrial setting required

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment

    + Proven proficiency in general personal computer applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel

    + Strong analytical skills

    + Ability to look at the big picture to foster long term growth

    + Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats

    + Ability to work well in a team environment while also working independently for periods throughout the day

    + Valid and clean NYS driver's license to make trips to vendors and sites as needed

    + Willingness to gain product and service knowledge

    + Knowledge of distribution and stocking a plus, not required

    + Previous experience with Eclipse software a plus, not required

     

    Physical Ability Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations)

     

    + Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

    + Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time

    + Ability to climb stairs daily

    + You will be in a production/manufacturing environment daily
