    As the Manufacturing Administrator, you will impact the growth and organization of our switchgear department by providing administrative, sales, and customer service support.

     

    Full Time. On-site in New Hyde Park.

     

    $17 - $22/hour + benefits

     

    This role is on the Assistant Project Manager track.

    As a manufacturing administrator you will:

    + Provide administrative, sales, and customer service support to the Electric Switchboard Solutions division

    + Support the sales, production, and engineering departments through data entry and vendor/customer communication

    + Manage customer accounts ensuring accuracy

    + Upload service tickets and job cards to job tracking sheet

    + Print shop drawings and deliver to appropriate shop personnel

    + Review job and parts order status

    + Enter Bill of Materials for jobs

    + File service tickets, invoices, and packing slips

    + Communicate with customers via e-mail and phone

    + Conduct research on customer and vendor histories

    + Manage Excel based job tracking sheet

    + Other office administrative duties upon request

    What we are looking for in a manufacturing administrator:

    + 1+ years of general office work in an industrial setting (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical company)

    + Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse and growth-oriented environment

    + Ability to work under tight deadlines

    + Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    + Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats

    + Proven proficiency in general personal computer applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel

    + Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently

    + Willingness and eagerness to gain product and service knowledge

    + Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred

    + Clean and valid NYS Driver's License to operate company vehicles as needed

     

    Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations)

     

    + Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

    + Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, computer mouse, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of time

    + Ability to climb stairs daily

    + You will be in a production/manufacturing environment daily
