• Facilities Maintenance Worker

    System One (Baltimore, MD)


    Job Description:

    Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and preventive maintenance tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct routine facility maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, general carpentry, and electrical tasks.

    + Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality.

    + Repair and replace ceiling tiles, flooring, and wall finishes as needed.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms and workshops.

    + Manage supply inventory and order necessary materials.

    + Assist with production equipment maintenance as needed.

    + Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs and services.

    + Utilize the maintenance work order system to track and complete assigned tasks.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

    Requirements:

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Coursework in HVAC, plumbing, or general maintenance preferred.

    + Experience: 2+ years in facilities maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging environment.

    + Technical Skills:

    + Basic computer skills (including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, and Excel).

    + Knowledge of internet-based supply ordering.

    + Understanding of cGMP regulations and compliance.
