Quality PPAP Coordinator

System One is hiring a Quality PPAP Coordinator to join our team for a 90-day contract opportunity with strong potential for permanence in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Create PPAP packages, review, bubble, sanitize drawings.
+ Send out Material Certifications and maintain database.
+ Familiarity with AIAG PPAP package i.e. control plans, FMEA, process flow, level 3 submission, PSW.
+ Develop and distribute quality reports, including updates on supplier and customer PPAP and certifications.
+ Validate all the paperwork and review the documentation for accuracy of all data.
+ Utilize customer specific documentation along with company documentation to integrate into PPAP packages for suppliers.
+ Work with Suppliers for any Documentation issues they may have with QM.
Incoming
+ Review incoming PPAP’s from Suppliers to assure accuracy, documentation and necessary PPAP requirements have been met.
+ Escalate any concerns with PPAP documentation and or data to QE.
+ Once approved, escalate to QM, change accept level in NetSuite program, validate Revision and file accordingly.
+ Issue all necessary Certifications to Customers i.e. material certs, C of C’s etc.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance and PPAP coordination activities.
+ Familiarity with basic work skills GDT Technical drawings.
+ Strong analytical abilities to address complex problems.
+ Proficient in AIAG Core Tools, ISO 9001 Auditing standards, and Microsoft Office products.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities to collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, follow process flows, and perform simple mathematical calculations using basic measuring tools if needed.
+ Competence in data recording and blueprint reading.
+ General understanding of problem-solving principles and analytical techniques.
+ Familiarity with Quality Systems, both internal and external.
+ Experience with measurement equipment and testing devices. Knowledge of basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Work Environment:
+ Standard office and manufacturing environment.
+ Will be required to enter work areas with moving equipment, machinery, and parts on a regular basis.
+ Noise level is normal.
