Salary: $61,000-$75,000.

Responsibilities
+ Lead comprehensive reviews of resident deaths within residential programs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Conduct minor notable investigations and report trends in accordance with regulations.
+ Collaborate with leadership to support action plans driven by internal and external assessments.
+ Support the adoption and optimization of new technologies and workflows to improve clinical efficiency and care quality.
+ Analyze, investigate, and trend medication errors; partner with leadership to develop strategies to enhance medication safety.
+ Oversee incident management processes to ensure timely reporting, investigation, and resolution of incidents across all programs.
+ Serve as liaison to the Medical Director and ECS Health Care Consultant, supporting programs with quality improvement and regulatory guidelines.
+ Provide guidance and support to medical personnel on regulatory changes, laws, and best practices.
+ Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all medical practices.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement projects, using data-driven approaches to enhance outcomes.
+ Assist with audits, investigations, and the creation of reports and presentations.
+ Collaborate with the Communications team for reporting and project support.
+ Engage in committee work and cross-training with other Quality Standards staff.
+ Travel to various sites/locations as needed.
Qualifications
+ Education/Certification:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State preferred; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
+ Experience:Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience; at least 1 year in a quality improvement or similar role preferred. Experience in residential or long-term care settings is advantageous.
+ Skills:Strong analytical skills, familiarity with electronic health record systems, healthcare technology implementations, and standard office software (spreadsheets, databases, conference room equipment).
+ Knowledge:Familiarity with systems such as Evolv, eVero, Litmos, and DayForce is a plus.
+ Other Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate standard office equipment.
