Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on **Maintenance Supervisor** to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all production equipment and facility systems by leading preventative maintenance efforts, responding to equipment failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely completion.
+ Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
+ Develop and enforce preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations; promote and maintain a culture of safety.
+ Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals and projects.
+ Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation of work performed.
+ Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance skills, safety practices, and technical knowledge.
+ Assist in the planning and execution of equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements.
+ Provide regular reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
+ Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures across the maintenance team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or lead technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Working knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems is a plus.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
+ Proficient in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies effectively.
+ Commitment to workplace safety and preventive maintenance best practices.
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
+ Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

**Pay Details:** $66,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
