**SALARY:** $20.00 per hour

24 - 28 Hours Per Week

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Involved in sample preparation procedures as well as routine analysis while maintaining sample integrity

+ Using different laboratory equipment to gather physical and chemical data and reporting those results

+ Use of computer based programs such as MS Excel to collect data and make decisions

+ Use of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to complete work tasks

+ Follow all plant and safety policies

+ Follow oral and written instructions

+ Other routine tasks as necessary

+ Work in other departments as time and activities allow

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Minimum Education requirements - High School Diploma or GED

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates

+ Ability to continuously stand, bend or twist and lift items up to 50 pounds required

+ Experience in agriculture, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or related field helpful

+ Basic knowledge of wet chemistry laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Team player with good communication skills
