    Aerotek Is Hiring 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operators In Clayville, NY

     

    Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator, where you'll produce quality production parts according to print specifications, while receiving ongoing direction and training.

     

    **Pay:** $20-$22 per hour

    Shift:

    + 3rd shift: Mon-Thurs 10pm-8am

    **Responsibilities** :

    + Demonstrate proper work methods and procedures, use of tools and equipment, and adhere to safe work practices under direct and continued training.

    + Run written programs for CNC machines to produce production parts as necessary.

    + Perform simple machining operations to support cell deliveries with continual direction.

    + Comply with all rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.

    + Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position, to support department objectives and develop skills.

    + Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.

    + Follow all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Proficient in machine operation, production, lathe, and blueprint reading.

    + Experience in machining and machine operating.

    + Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

    + Knowledge of basic machine shop practices.

    + Use of basic shop mathematics with continued guidance.

    + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently.

    + Experience of 6+ months in a similar role.

    + Physical capability to bend, lift, squat, twist, reach overhead, stand for long periods, and climb stairs.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
