    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling CNC machinery for both mill and lathe departments. This position offers a career advancement opportunity to lead/supervisor role within one to one and a half years.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery for mill and lathe departments.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.

    + Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Handle PLC troubleshooting on machines.

    + Repair and fabricate industrial machinery parts.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Work with electrical systems including 3-phase, Fanuc, and Fagor systems.

    + Perform welding and other mechanical repairs.

    Essential Skills

    + 5-6 years of experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery, preferably CNC machines.

    + Strong electrical skills with a focus on 60/40 electrical to mechanical.

    + PLC experience for troubleshooting machines.

    + Own tools for maintenance work.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous leadership experience leading a maintenance team is a plus.

    + Experience in precision gear and transmission design and manufacturing.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a machine shop environment with milling and lathe departments. Some areas are cleaner than others, and the facility has larger milling machines that turn parts for various industries such as Oil/Gas, Military, Transportation, Marine, and Wind. You will receive training and mentorship under the current maintenance supervisor.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
