Job Title: Robotics EngineerJob Description
This position focuses on Fanuc robotic programming, aiming to commission robots for a specific customer. The role involves full setup and configuration of Fanuc robots, including DCS configuration and debugging after setup. Work will be conducted both in-house and during installation.
Responsibilities
+ Commission Fanuc Robots by performing initial power-on procedures, establishing communication protocols, and debugging programs to ensure optimal robot performance.
+ Configure and manage the Dual Check Safety (DCS) system to ensure safe operation of Fanuc robots.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Fanuc robots into existing automation systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to robot operation and programming.
+ Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, including configuration settings and troubleshooting steps.
Essential Skills
+ Fanuc programming expertise.
+ Experience with commissioning Fanuc robots.
+ Proficiency in DCS Configuration.
+ Debugging skills.
+ Robotics setup knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 3 years working with Fanuc robots.
+ IR Vision experience is highly advantageous.
Work Environment
The role involves working across three locations: a facility in Howell, a facility in Jackson, and a customer's location in Canada. The installation of equipment will take place in Canada, while debugging activities will be conducted in Michigan. The position offers the opportunity to work with an automation company operating across various industries, initially supporting a project for an automotive supplier.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
