    Job Title: Product Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Product Engineer specializing in opto-electronics to join our dynamic team. The role involves overseeing the full product lifecycle, from conception to completion, with a focus on customizing legacy equipment or products to meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with the Production Line Director to quote and scope out projects.

    + Oversee engineering work conducted by technicians and coordinate with the Mexico facility for testing and troubleshooting.

    + Apply understanding of materials and physics in product development.

    + Utilize knowledge of design, CAD drawings, and IC circuits/circuit design in projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in product engineering and electronics.

    + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and manufacturing processes.

    + Strong project management skills with experience in cradle-to-grave manufacturing.

    + Electrical knowledge, ideally with an electro-mechanical focus.

    + Ability to debug electronics and perform electrical testing in a lab environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in electrical engineering with significant mechanical knowledge.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position is based in an office environment with a lab, providing a collaborative space for testing and development activities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
