Job Title: Solar Array Construction Laborer
**Location:** Meeker, CO
Description:
Join our dynamic team in constructing the electrical portion of a massive 150MW solar array featuring 235,000 panels! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project that will last over a year. As a Solar Array Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and assembly process, ensuring the efficient and effective setup of the solar array.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Panel Installation: Securely install solar panels and ensure proper alignment.
+ Racking Assembly: Assemble racking systems with precision.
+ Torqueing: Tighten bolts, nuts, and fixtures to specified torque settings.
+ Wire Management: Organize and manage wiring for optimal performance.
+ String Wire: Connect and string wire to ensure seamless electrical flow.
+ Inverter Installation: Install inverters to convert solar energy into usable power.
+ Trenching: Dig trenches for cable and conduit placement.
+ Conduit Bending: Bend and install conduit for electrical wiring.
+ Material Staging: Prepare and stage materials for efficient workflow.
+ General Labor: Perform various labor duties as needed to support the project.
Skills Required:
+ Construction: Basic construction skills and knowledge.
+ Solar: Familiarity with solar panel installation and related tasks.
+ General Labor: Ability to perform physical labor and handle tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
