Job Title: Plumber Helper/Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber Helper/Laborer to assist on commercial job sites in the Westlake area. This role requires a hardworking individual who is eager to learn and grow within the mechanical trades.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with the installation of sheet metal, HVAC systems, and duct work.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.

+ Support the lead plumber with various construction tasks.

+ Use hand and power tools to complete assigned duties.

+ Work at various job sites as required.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial construction plumber helper position.

+ Experience with mechanical trades, with at least 2 years preferred.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to work outdoors in any climate.

+ Flexibility to work at different job sites.

+ Strong attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment

This position operates on the first shift from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires working outdoors in various climates and offers competitive pay depending on experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
