Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills or lathes for short production runs, typically not exceeding 25 parts. The role involves reading blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements, changing tools, and making minor adjustments to programs as needed. Additionally, you will inspect products with precision instruments and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes for short runs, typically no more than 25 parts.
+ Read blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements.
+ Change tools and make minor adjustments to programs as needed.
+ Inspect products with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of CNC setup experience.
+ Experience performing multiple setups per day.
+ Minimum of 2 years of blueprint reading experience.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience using micrometers and calipers.
+ At least 1 year of experience in changing tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of G&M code is a plus.
+ Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus.
+ Experience in a job shop or performing multiple setups daily is a plus.

Work Environment
This role requires working on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, with initial training on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 PM for up to 9 months. During training, you will receive a shift premium. The work environment is a machine and assembly shop with 250 employees in the U.S. and additional locations outside the country. We manufacture products for oil and gas, agriculture, industrial, marine, and hybrid sectors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52956.00 - $76627.00/yr.

Reviews at 3, 6, 9 months. Opportunity to advance in level and increase pay at 9 months. Annual reviews after that.
Level system is 1-5. Will most likely start at Entry level rate of $24+ shift premium to get them to $25.46. Level 5 pays $36.48/hour. Receive shift premium even while training on 1st.
