Job Title: Quality Control Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Specialist to join our team, specializing in the quality control of consumer goods. This role is highly cross-functional, with a broad scope of responsibilities revolving around ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards and arrive to customers in top condition. The position requires an independently driven person willing and able to work collaboratively to drive change. Innovation, operating in ambiguity, being results and process-oriented, and attention to detail will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
+ Develop data-driven product inspection processes.
+ Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure product quality.
+ Enhance the Data Driven Risk Management Model within the first six months, aiming to reduce defect rates by 10% in the first year.
+ Expand and utilize the quality dataset over the first 12 months, initiating two actionable process improvements per quarter.
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product risk assessments, completing FMEA for 20 existing products within the first 180 days.
+ Initiate the CAPA process by conducting root cause analysis for all quality rejections within five business days.
+ Expand and standardize quality documentation and processes within the first six months, achieving a 95% consistency rate in process adherence by year-end.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree required.
+ 1-3 years of Quality Assurance experience, with hard goods experience preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365.
+ Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.
+ Strong root cause analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

+ Superior verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and work independently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
