    Job Posting: Financial Analytics and Reporting Lead

    Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analytics and Reporting Lead to oversee financial analytics and reporting using various technology tools and resources, including Power BI and Yardi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for summarizing monthly financial performance by market and focused properties, tracking quarterly performance of multifamily and commercial portfolios against performance requirements and benchmarks, and forecasting future performance of the portfolios. This role involves providing strategic insight on capital structure, acquisitions/dispositions, and value-add enhancements, performing risk analyses, and calculating property-level investment returns.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Monitoring market trends and proactively communicating any focus areas or opportunities identified to the respective executive and/or senior leader.

    + Collaborating with the COO and VPs to monitor property business plans with Regional Managers and Joint Venture Partners.

    + Identifying and communicating successes and/or areas needing improvement and focus.

    + Monitoring and analyzing Field Staff trends, including dashboards and property costs related to internal personnel.

    + Leading the overall development and philosophy behind the annual budget process for managed properties, including creating the initial drafts of each property budget.

    + Identifying monthly opportunities for improvement within the portfolio and properties.

    + Partnering with peers across the senior leadership team to develop, update, and coordinate training of Operational Procedures and policies for residential and commercial property management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.

    + 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or business analytics.

    + Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and financial modeling.

    + Proficient in verbal and written English communication.

    Preferred:

    + Experience with Yardi Property Management Software.

    + Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

    + Solid understanding of budgets, financial statements, and investment strategy.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
