An Implementation Specialist is responsible for working closely with customers to understand their requirements and configure software solutions to meet those needs. The role requires a deep understanding of the products and software processes being implemented and the ability to communicate how solutions work and relate to the customer's business processes. The Implementation Specialist is accountable for the successful implementation and testing of customer solutions while interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with Implementation Engineers, Data Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
+ Review contracts for understanding and adherence to the scope of work.
+ Consult and partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer’s business processes.
+ Confirm environmental requirements and access.
+ Analyze current and future states to ensure features and functionality meet scoped requirements.
+ Install databases and software, configuring solutions to meet customer needs.
+ Set up and conduct solution demonstrations.
+ Create test cases and run tests to find and correct errors, validating the implementation meets specifications.
+ Train and/or assist with client/end-user training.
+ Provide client support during testing, go-live, and post-go-live phases.
+ Resolve issues and bugs.
+ Migrate solutions to production and perform post-production reviews.
+ Review customer requests for enhancements and engage needed departments for scoping and contracting.
+ Work with Support to transition customer solutions to the maintenance phase.
+ Adhere to communication standards to ensure clients are informed of status, progress, and risks/issues.
+ Facilitate internal and external meetings.
+ Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners.
+ Create system or implementation process documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ Associate degree in computer/software-related field or 3+ years of software implementation experience.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Self-starter and detail-oriented.
+ Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer/software-related field or 5+ years of software/IT customer service experience.
+ 3+ years’ experience in a software, training, and implementation environment.
+ 1+ years' experience with court projects.
+ Financial understanding, including reconciliation, debits/credits, and entering charges/payments.
+ Experience in County/municipal Government software operations and processes is a plus.
Work Environment
Must live in Louisiana. The role requires 40-50% travel around Louisiana. The candidate will work remotely when not traveling to customer sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
