Job Title: General Manager
Job Description
The General Manager will lead the entire management team, including Project Managers, Superintendents, estimators, accounting and administrative staff, and project engineers. The primary objective is to ensure the successful execution of all projects, maintaining budget and schedule targets, while driving overall company growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
+ Operational Leadership: Oversee the efficient operation of all company departments, including Estimating, Project Operations, Accounting, and HR.
+ Stakeholder Coordination: Lead collaboration with all stakeholders, including Clients, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and third parties.
+ Site Visits and Compliance: Conduct on-site visits as needed to monitor the progress of critical projects.
+ Team Leadership and Building: Provide direction and support to the management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Implement team-building activities and strategies to enhance team cohesion and morale.
+ Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive company growth and improve operational efficiency.
+ Bid Review: Collaborate with the estimating team to review and approve project bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

+ General/Prime Contractor or HVAC Mechanical/Plumbing construction knowledge
+ Financial knowledge: Ability to understand Financial Reports, including monthly Work In Progress (WIP) reports, Project Cost Reports, Earned Value Metrics (EVM)
+ Project Management Experience and Expertise with Projects $1M-$20M in value
+ Strong Leadership and Team-Building Skills: Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
+ Strong Mathematical and Scientific Aptitude: Proficient in mathematics and engineering principles.
+ Construction Industry Literacy: Understands construction documents, including contract terms and conditions, specifications, and drawings.
+ Customer-Centric Approach: Committed to providing high-quality customer service and support.
+ Physical Capability: Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
+ Computer/Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other software.
+ Effective Time Management: Balances demands across multiple projects.
+ Good Communication Skills: Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
+ Positive Team Player: Maintains a good attitude and collaborates effectively.

+ 20+ years project management experience preferred

Work Environment
The work environment includes commercial and industrial operations, as well as operations on military bases. It involves working with various technologies and equipment and may require on-site visits to monitor project progress.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $73.00 - $98.00/hr.
