Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and install various machines and equipment. This role involves applying principles of hydraulics and pneumatics, performing preventive maintenance inspections, and operating a range of machines to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair all types of machines and equipment, including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors.

+ Install machines and equipment, including reading prints and schematics, coupling alignment, rigging, hoisting, and debugging new equipment.

+ Apply hydraulics and pneumatics principles to pumps, valves, cylinders, and actuators.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, including visual and audible inspections, vibration analysis, and fluid analysis.

+ Perform machine operations using grinders, drill presses, saws, lathes, and milling machines.

+ Engage in additional work processes such as electrical engineering, machine building, building and facilities maintenance, furnace repair, carpentry, HVAC, and overhead door maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical skills

+ Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge

+ Experience with 3 phase motors and industrial electricity (480v)

+ PLC troubleshooting

+ Preventive maintenance

+ Industrial and electrical troubleshooting

+ Maintenance repair

+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints

+ Experience with conveyors and motors

+ Electrical maintenance

+ Minimum of 2 years working in maintenance

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with gearboxes, cylinders, valves, motors, and bearings

+ Experience with TIG welding is a plus

Work Environment

The work environment varies in temperature, potentially reaching as low as 35-38 degrees during winter months. It is a fast-paced setting where safety nets, beard nets (if applicable), and uniforms are provided, including appropriate attire for colder days. The work schedule includes shifts with varying shift differentials and may require mandatory Saturdays and up to 48-58 hours of work per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Medina, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
