Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As an Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating production equipment to optimize availability, quality, and speed. This includes both mechanical and electrical subsystems. You will provide direction and guidance to production staff on the operations of the Dispensing and Packaging Systems.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment, including conveyors, PLCs, robots, vision systems, and computer-controlled devices.
+ Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and communicate requirements and status to production operations.
+ Perform preventative maintenance independently, following written schedules and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience with electrical troubleshooting, conveyors, vision systems, and PLCs.
+ 50/50 mechanical to electrical expertise, with PLC experience as a plus.
+ Experience in precision mechanical setup, assembly, or building of moving equipment with high tolerances or metered functions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school graduate, GED, technical school graduate, or equivalent training.
+ Four years of electro-mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in the use of power tools and measuring devices.
+ Basic background in general machine shop practices and experience with 220-480V power.
+ Experience using AC/DC motors, servomotors, and frequency drivers.
+ Previous experience in high-speed processing of food, pharmacy, consumer products, or automotive repair is nice to have.
+ Experience with bottling equipment maintenance is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is a pharmacy setting that is very clean, equipped with large dispensing machines. The atmosphere is casual, allowing for a relaxed dress code, while still maintaining high compliance with FDA standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr.
