    _Hiring a R&D Technician for a Medical Device Company in Fremont, CA!_

     

    As an R&D Technician, you will ensure compliance with local and company Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. You will document activities according to best engineering practices and work closely with R&D, Design, Development, and Transfer Engineers to understand and produce products. Your role involves managing cost-effective manufacturing processes, optimizing component processing, and supporting product transfers and introductions.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

    + Document activities in accordance with best engineering practices, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    + Collaborate with Engineers or Customers to understand and produce products.

    + Manage yield and material usage for cost-effective manufacturing.

    + Conduct root cause analysis for engineering efforts.

    + Develop and implement standard manufacturing methods and process improvements.

    + Optimize medical component processing for manufacturing through time studies, working standards, and process flows.

    + Conduct time studies to establish performance standards.

    + Analyze and implement improvements to reduce product costs.

    + Design and develop equipment, tools, or fixtures that meet health, safety, and environmental standards.

    + Setup and validate production lines for manufacturing.

    + Support or lead product transfers and new product introductions.

    + Build business relationships with customers and suppliers.

    + Investigate and solve quality issues or provide support as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with assembly and production processes.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and process development.

    + Understanding of Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), R&D, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Bill of Materials (BOM).

    + Experience with 3D printing and SolidWorks software.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a production and cleanroom environment with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, offering a flexible start time between 6am and 7am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
