Job Description
As a Panel Builder, you will play a crucial role in constructing and wiring electrical panels. Using your expertise with electrical schematics, you will layout, assemble, and wire panels, ensuring top quality and precision. You will work with a variety of components, focusing on delivering high-standard products to our customers.
Responsibilities
+ Use electrical schematics to layout the panel/enclosure/box accurately.
+ Determine the placement of racks and rails, ensuring proper spacing, and drill/tap holes as required.
+ Install push buttons, power supplies, and motor controls, followed by wiring the entire setup.
+ Connect the panel to machinery 25% of the time; the remaining 75% involves preparing the panel for shipment to customers.
+ Work with Rittal Cabinets/Enclosures and Eaton components.
+ Handle panels ranging in size from a few inches to up to 8 feet tall.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in building and wiring panels using electrical schematics.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics effectively.
+ Ownership of trade tools or willingness to purchase necessary tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in machine wiring is a plus, as it enhances panel building skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
