• Entry-Level Specimen Processor

    Actalent (Dublin, OH)


    Currently hiring for multiple long-term openings in a medical laboratory to help process samples and specimens. This is an entry-level role (no degree required) and will primarily focus on processing, scanning, packaging, and performing data entry for various human based specimens/tests. An ideal candidate will have consistent work experience and at least some experience in a fast paced or medical/healthcare environment. These are all full-time positions plus overtime as needed.

     

    Pay:$17.25/hour

    Shifts Available:

    + Monday – Friday, 10:30pm – 7am (plus rotating Saturdays or Sundays and overtime)

    + Tuesday – Saturday, 8pm - 4:30am (plus rotating Saturdays or Sundays and overtime)

    Duties may include the following:

    + Scan samples into the system and verify labels are accurate.

    + Perform data entry.

    + Process and sort samples.

    + Package specimens up in the laboratory

    + Insert specimens into appropriate machinery/equipment.

    + Put caps on specimens after running it through machinery.

    + Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.

    + Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.

    + Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.

    + Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Qualifications:

    + Must have work experience, but can be from a variety of industries. This is an entry-level role in the scientific field so no degree is required, although you must have a completed High School Diploma or GED

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.00/hr.
