HMI Engineer - Remote (Can be located anywhere in the United States)+ Travel
Job Description
We are seeking an HMI Engineer to join our team to design, develop, and commission high-speed conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for the world's largest package delivery company. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and design to programming, FAT, on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. You will work on multiple projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and customer groups.
Responsibilities
+ Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware.
+ Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, computer, and networking equipment.
+ Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software.
+ Participate in site commissioning activities.
+ Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
+ Provide technical support to project team members.
+ Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time - 10 days on 4 days off travel schedule
Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with material handling automated systems or parcel systems. (Highly Preferred)
+ Experience with Aveva Edge (formerly Indusoft) or Ignition. -MUST HAVE
+ Proficiency in HMI/SCADA software (Factory Talk, FT Optix). - MUST HAVE
+ Knowledge of PLC programming, Python, VBScript, Rockwell
+ UPS, FedEx, Amazon project experience is a nice to have.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
